12V Electrical Wiring Diagram
The 12V system is the most popular for camper vans and RVs. Below is our 12V electrical wiring diagram, which includes auxiliary batteries, fuses, breakers, bus bars, and recommended wires.

We recommend using this diagram in conjunction with our below resources to help you accurately size your system.
Not sure which battery to use? Read our Li Time vs. Redodo lithium battery review to see our recommendation.

Inverter Wiring Diagram
In order to power laptops, blenders, and other common household appliances that run on 110V (or 220V), you will need to install an inverter, which converts the 12V DC power from the batteries to usable AC power.
Below is our inverter electrical wiring diagram, which includes parts of the 12V system, the inverter, power outlets, and power inlet (for inverter/charger models only).
